626 JOURNAL OF PEOCEEDINGS [Mar. 20,

BY THE SENATE,

March 20th, 1878.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates.

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate for further consideration the House bill entitled an
Act to authorize the County Commissioners for Talbot
County to purchase Miles' River Bridge, and to make the
same a free bridge.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

On motion by Mr. Hepbron, (by unanimous consent,)

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to be entitled an
Act to repeal Chapter 150, of the Acts passed "at Session of
1874, to establish a Commission of Fisheries, and amend and
re-enact the same.

House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Rehypothecation,"

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Garey,

Bannon, Hepbron,

Combs, of Allegany, Humphreys,

Cooper, McLane,

Dennis, Miller,

Ford, Newcomer,

Franklin, Steiner,

Freeman, Stump—16.
NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Freeman, from a Select Committee, (by unanimous con-
sent,) reported favorably,

House bill entitled au Act te protect trout in Baltimore
County.

Which was read the second time.
