powers to the House of the Good Shepherd of the City of Bal-
timore, and to provide for the commitments thereto of disso-
lute and disorderly females, for the purpose of reformation,

At end of Section 8 add :

"And the sum of two thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated to pay the said,
twenty cents per day, out of any money in the Treasury not
otherwise appropriated."

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for taking the vote
of the people of Charles County on the question of changing
the county seat of said county, and removing the Court-
House from Port Tobacco to La Plata, and to provide for the
purchase of a site at La Plata, and the building of a Court-
House thereon.

Pending the consideration of the unfavorable report,

Mr. Lancaster moved to substitute the bill for the unfa-
vorable report,
