Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
"Garey, Franklin and Bannon.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1 and 2, of
the Acts of January Session, 1872, Chapter 198, entitled an
Act for the protection of, and to regulate the time and man-
ner of catching and taking, fish and terrapins in that portion
of the Potomac River, between Maryland Point, in Charles

County, and Chiseldine's Island, in St. Mary's County, and to
re-enact the same with amendments, and to add additional
sections thereto.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to
Chapter 46, of the Acts passed at the January Session, 1876,
entitled an Act to regulate the sale of firewood in the City of
Baltimore, for the better protection of the produce dealer and
consumer, to be known as "Section 6 A."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Baltimore
City Senators.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 107 and 111,
of Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Chancery," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the

County Commissioners of Charles County to pay to Thomas
Skinner of said county, the sum of $100, for money paid by
him to sundry persons for the killing of hawks, owls, foxes,
&c., in 1876 and 1877,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
