Senate bill entitled an Act to make effectual the provisions
made by the Act of December Session, 1844, Chapter 281,
entitled an Act to provide for the completion of the Chesa-
peake and Ohio Canal to Cumberland, and for other pur-
poses, in so far as said Act relates to putting and keeping the
said Chesapeake and Ohio Canal in good condition and repair,
and to make the said Canal an effective means of transporta-
tion,
