the same with amendments, and to add an additional section
thereto.
On motion by Mr. Lancaster,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to regulate the fees of the State's At-
torney for Charles County.
On motion by Sulivane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act pass-
ed at January Session 1876, Chapter 222, entitled an Act to
repeal Section 2 of Article 37 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title ''Evidence, " sub-title "Competency of Witness-
es, " as amended by the Act of January Session of l874,
Chapter 385, and to amend and re-enact the same.
On motion by Mr. McLane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of the
expenses incurred on the part of the State of Maryland in the
adjustment of the boundary line between the States of Mary-
land and Virginia by arbitration, and to appropriate a sum
of money therefor.
OB motion by Mr. Sulivane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 6,
Article 29, of the Code «f Public General Laws, title
"Courts, " and to amend and re-enact the same.
On motion by Mr. McLane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to provide for the payment of the salary due the
Secretary of the State Board of Health for the year ending
31st December, 1877.
On motion by Mr. McLane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled "an Act to amend an Act to incor-
porate the Safe Deposit Company of Baltimore, Chapter 242
of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1864, and the several
Acts amendatory thereof, viz: the Acts of 1867, Chapter 82,
of 1868, Chapter 394, and of 1876, Chapter 27, by the last of
which the name of said Company was changed to The Safe
Deposit and Trust Company of Baltimore. "
