AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Page 1, line 9, strike out the word "as," and insert
in place thereof the words "at least two of whom shall
be from the political party which at last preceding
election for Governor, received next to the highest
number of voles, said minority representation of at
least two members as aforesaid to be continued there-
after to be."

On page 2, line 24, after the word "education," in-
sert the words:

"But principals of the State Normal Schools and of
the Normal Departments of any school or college un-
der the control of the State Board of Education whose
certificates are recognized by it, shall be ex-officia
honorary members of the board, but with no vett."

On page 2. lines 41 and 42, strike out all after the
words "shall be in" in line 41, and all of line 42, and
insert in lieu thereof the word "Annapolis."
