ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Jenkins, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Drumm be excused from attend-
ance at to day's session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Bond, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Simmons be excused from to-
day's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Keys, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Kirk be excused from to-day's
session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Tighe, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Hill be excused on account of
important business.

On motion of Mr. Bosse, it was

Ordered, That Messrs. Baker and Evans be excused
from to-day's session on account of very important
business.

On motion of Mr. Henkel, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Bald be excused on account of
death in Ms family.

On motion of Mr. Johnston, it was
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay the
Supt, of Public Buildings for the carpet furnished the
typewriter room in the lobby, near Speakers' room.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Wells, it was

Ordered, That the Committee on Elections report to
the House of Delegates its conclusions in the matter
of the eligibility or ineligibility of James. De Wal-
bach and Hungerford Smoot, sitting members from
Charles county, for membership in the House of Dele-
gates and that such report be made on or before one
o'clock Thursday, and that the report or reports be
made the special order for consideration on Thursday
at one o'clock.

On motion laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Wells, it was

Ordered, That the Committee on Elections name a
