favorably, with amendment,

House bill, File No. 340, entitled "Au Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 623 A of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'City of Bal-
timore,' as amended by the Act of 1902, chapter 611,
sub-title 'Justice of th^ Peace and Constables.' "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out in the 15th and 16th lines, section 1, the
words "four thousand," and insert the words "three
thousand."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

House bill, File No. 318, entitled "An Act to au-
thorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Talbot county, in the State of Maryland, in their dis-
