section 13 of Article 6 of the Code of Public General
Laws of the State of Maryland, title 'Courts,' sub-title
'Inspection of Records,' in so far as the same relates
to Frederick county, as re-enacted by chapter 223 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1898, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was considered, and
Upon motion,

Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

Mr. Wells, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments,

House bill, File No. 238. entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and empower the Mayor and Common Council of
Hyattsville to establish, construct and maintain a
sewerage system for the town of Hyattsville, Prince
George's county, and to issue and sell its bonds to the
amount of not exceeding $30,000, to provide funds for
thai purpose, and to provide for the payment of the
principal and interest thereof, and to repeal only for
the purpose of this Act, sections 18 and 35 of chapter
631, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
1902, and all Acts and parts of Acts relating to the
Mayor and Common Council of Hyattsville, as far as
the same are in conflict with this Act."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out section 8 and insert following:
"Section 8. And be it enacted that the Mayor and
Common Council of Hyattsville shall submit to the
vote of the legally qualified voters of said town, the
question whether or not said town shall issue the said
bonds to the amount of not mure than thirty thous-
and dollars ($80,000), as hereinbefore set forth, at a
special election to be held in said town after ten days
public notice thereof, by publication at least one time
before the said election in the "Hyattsville Indepen-
dent" a newspaper published in said town, and by
such other notice as the said Mayor and Common
Council may prescribe or adopt; giving notice of the
intent and object of this Act, and date, time and poll-
ing place of said election, and that the certificate of
the said Mayor of said town of the holding of said
