$75 and proper mileage for services as acting Sergeant-
at-Arms upon the organizational' this House.

Which was referred to the Committee on Claims.
On motion of Mr. Morrison, it was

Ordered, That Wm. J. C. Dulany Company be paid
the sum of one hundred and forty-eight dollars and
seventy-five cents for supplies furnished the House of
Delegates on the order of the Chief Clerk, and that
the same be paid out of the appropriation for legisla-
tive expenses for the session of 1904.

Which was referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Morrison submitted the following:

Whereas, The bill on Education introduced in the
House, is a very important one, affecting and interest-
ing all the people of the State:

Ordered by the House of Delegates, That Wm. C.
Dulany Company, State Printers, be authorized and
directed to print 200 extra copies of said bill, at a cost
not exceeding the sum of fifty dollars ($50); the same
to be paid out of the appropriation for State printing
for the session of 1904.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Bosse,

A bill entitled "An Act to provide separate cars for
white and colored persons in Baltimore city."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

By Mr. Morrison (by request),

A bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the granting of
license for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors
or lager beer, in any part of the district of Baltimore
city, bounded by 20th street, Oak street, 24th street,
St. Paul street, Huntington avenue and Guilford
avenue."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Temperance.
