AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out the word "ten" where it appears in line
6 of section 1, and line 21 of section 1, and in line 42 of
section 1, and in line 45 of section 1, and in line 55 of
section 1, and in line 57 of section 1, and insert in lieu
thereof in each of said places the words "four."

Which amendment was adopted, bill read second
time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

House bill, File No. 225, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 92 of chapter 411 of the Acts of 1902, and to
re-enact the same with modifications."

Considered and upon motion referred to Prince
George's delegation.

Mr. Goslin, from Ways and Means Committee, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 119, entitled "An Act for the
improvement of the Public Highways of the State,
to provide the means therefor, and to require the com-
mission created by an Act of the General Assembly
of 1896, chapter 51, to perform certain additional
duties."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out the words "the date of its passage," and
insert the words, "January 1st, 1905."

Which was adopted.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill, File No. 115, entitled "An Act to pro-
vide payment for the publishing of the annual report
and official blanks, and for an anemometer for the
State Mine Inspector, as required by chapter 124 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1902, January
Session."

vide for the further publication of the Archives of
