The hour having arrived,
The House considered the Second Special Order of
the Day, being
House bill, File .No. 33, entitled "An Act to provide
for separate accommodations of white and colored
passengers in the sitting, sleeping and eating apart-
ments of all steamboats plying in the waters within
the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland without any
difference in discrimination in the quality and con-
venience of accommodation."

The following Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, originating in the House of Delegates, were
presented to the Governor for his approval this day at
11.30 o'clock, a. m.
Chapter 18. "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments chapter 93 entitled 'An Act to add to the
power of the Mayor and Council of Takoma Park.' "
Chapter 19. "An Act to prohibit the issuing of
licenses to sell spirituous or fermented liquors in the
village of Point of Rocks, iu Frederick county, or
within two miles thereof in said county"
Chapter 20. "An Act to appropriate the sum of two™
thousand, one hundred and twelve dollars and ninety
nine cents, out of the public school funds to reimburse-
Garret county for an instalment of State School Tax:
withheld from said county in the year nineteen hund-
red and three, and also to authorize and direct the
Comptroller to apportion the said county the instal-
ment known as the March instalment of the State
