of money to repair and put in good condition the State
Hay and Cattle Scales at Havre de Grace."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

A bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
'Crimes and Punishments," sub-title 'Gaming,' by re-
pealing section 124 E thereof, as enacted by the Acts
of 1898, chapter 285 and re-enacting the same so as to
read as follows."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

By Mr. Benson,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, chapter 368 of the Acts of 1902, entitled

"An Act to legalize and regulate the granting of fran-
chises for public purposes by the Count Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, and to ratify and legalize
all franchises heretofore granted by the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore county, under said Act."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Baltimore county delegation.

General Assembly of Maryland, session of 1902, en-
