On motion of Mr. Orem, it was

Ordered, That Messrs. Roth, Murphy of Baltimore
city, be excused from attendance at to-day's session
on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Duvall, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Atwell be excused from to-day's
session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Lansdale, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Johnston be excused on account
business.
Also,

Ordered, That Mr. Williams be excused on account
of business.

On motion of Mr. Bald, it was

" Ordered, That Mr. Lock be excused for being absent
on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Charles, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Baker be excused from to-day's
session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Kerbin, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Carey be excused on account of
business.

On motion of Mr. Hall, it was,

Ordered, That Mr. Morrison be excused from this
day's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Wells, it was.
Ordered, That hereafter all originals of bills shall be
first delivered to the Committee on Engrossed Bills at
the room of the committee over the room of the old
House of Delegates

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

On motion of Mr. Murphy, of Dorchester, it was,
Ordered, That Mr. Jones be excused from to-day's
session on account of business.
