peal sections 233 and 285 of Article 20, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'Somerset County,' sub-title
'Roads,' and to re-enact said sections so as to read as
follows.' "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Somerset delegation.
Also,

Senate bill. File No. 107, entitled "An Act to au-
thorize and direct the County Commissioners of Wash-
ington county to refund to Mrs. Clara Hamilton of
said county, a certain sum of money for taxes erro-
neously paid said County Commissioners by her."

Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Washington delegation.
Also,

House bill, File No. 11, entitled "An Act to author-
ize and empower Jos. H. Bernard, Thos. H. Jarman,
Thomas C. Curry, Robt. J. Roughley, Wm. J. Moore,
Clinton B. Jarman, Thomas F. Jackson, Samuel J.
Bilbrough and Henry Torhroat, Trustees of the Meth-
odist Episcopal Church in Greensboro, Caroline coun-
ty, Maryland, or a majoritity of them, to sell said
church and apply the proceeds arising from said sale
to the building and completion of the new Methodist
Episcopal Church, now being erected in said town of
Greensboro, Maryland."

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,

House bill, File No. 52, entitled "An Act to require
all corporations engaged in mining coal or fire clay in
Garrett county, to pay their employees wages due
semi-monthly."
