On motion of Mr. Collins, it was
Ordered, That Messrs. Dodson and Jackson be ex-
cused from to-day's session.

On motion of Mr. Messick, it was
Ordered, That Messrs. Hearn and Carey be excused
from to-day's session on account of business,

On motion of Mr. Messick, it was
Ordered, Thar Mr. Bennett be excused from attend-
ance of to-day's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Henkel, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Godwin be excused from to-day's
session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Hopkins, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Murphy, of Dorchester, be ex-
cused from to-day's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Norris, it was

Ordered, That the Librarian be instructed to furnish
the secretary of the city delegation with suitable
books and stationery for the use of said delegation.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendment, section 5, Article 81, Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes,'
sub-title 'Exemptions.' "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
By Mr. Atkinson,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 217 of Article 15 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'Kent county,'sub-title 'Wild
Fowl,' and .add two new sections to said Article to
follow section 217, and to be designated as 'Section
217 A, and 217 B.'"

Which was read the first, time and referred to the
Kent delegation and Mr. Buckler.
