BILLS—SECOND READING.

House bill, File No. 8, entitled "An Act to add an
additional section to Article 3, Code of Public Local
Laws, title'Baltimore county,' sub-title 'Justices of
Peace and Constables,' and to follow immediately after
section 139 Of said Article, and to be designated 'Sec-
tion 139 A.'"

Which read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

BILLS—THIRD READING.

Senate bill, File No. 8, entitled "An Act to author-
ize the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county,
to transcribe certain land indexes, mortgage indexes
and equity indexes, and to procure cases of modern
plan and style for the purpose of filing law papers,
insolvent papers and miscellaneous papers, in his of-
fice ; and further to make such necessary changes in
the fixtures of said office, as may be approved by the
Judges of the Circuit Court for said county, and to
provide for the payment there-of."

Which was read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows:
