300 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 12

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

February 12th, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received your message proposing that
when the General Assembly adjourns today, it adjourn
until 11 o'clock a. m., February 16th, and we do not
concur therein. ' We propose that'when the General
Assembly adjourns today it stands adjourned to meet
Monday, February the 15th, at 8 p. m.

Secretary.

Mr. Goslin submitted the following message:
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 12th, 1904,
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message proposing that
when the two Houses adjourn to-day, that they stand
adjourned until 8 o'clock p. m., Monday, February
15, 1904, and we concur therein.

B. L. SMITH,

Chief Clerk.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Wilson, from the Committee on Library, re-
ported favorably, the following order:

Ordered, That J. Oliver Martin be the Library
Clerk to the House of Delegates, at $5 a day, and it
shall be his duty to be present at the State Library
at all times, which shall be convenient to the members
of the House of Delegates.
