REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Green from Select Committee reported favora-
bly,

House bill, File No. 8, entitled "An Act to add an
additional section to Article 3, Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Baltimore county' sub-title 'Justices of
the Peace and Constables,' and to Mlow immediately
after section 139 of said article, and to be designated
Section 139 A.?"

Which was read a first time.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 8, entitled "An Act to author-
ize the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county,
to transcribe certain land indexes, mortgage indexes
and equity indexes, and to procure cases of modern
plan and, style for the purpose of filing law papers,
insolvent papers and miscellaneous papers, in his of-
fice ; and further to make.such necessary changes in
the fixtures of said, office, as may be approved ,by the
Judges of the Circuit Court for said, county, and to
provide for the payment thereof."

House bill. File No. 21, entitled; ''An Act:to make
valid tax sales in the city of Baltimore, inside by one
city collector and reported, and the property conveyed
by his successor in office, or made and reported by one
city collector and the property; conveyed by his suc-
cessor in office."

engrossed for a third reading.

House bill, File No. 64, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact section 16 of chapter 78, of Acts of Gen-
eral Assembly of 1898, entitled an Act to incorporate
the Town of Kensington, in Montgomery county."
