for the General Assembly during its session, shall be
delivered to the presiding officers of both Houses, and
the residue shall be delivered to the State Librarian,
to be by him distributed as provided by law.

And the said party of the frst part, acting for the
State of Maryland, in pursuance of the provisions of
the fourth section of Article 78 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, hereby covenants and
agrees to pay to the said party of the second part, in
the manner and of the time stated in said fourth sec-
tion of said Article 73 of the said Code, the prices
mentioned in these presents, and also enumerated in
the bid of the party of the second part for the print-
ing herein contracted for and agreed to be done as
aforesaid.

In testimony whereof, the parties to these presents
have, the day and year first herein mentioned, set
their respective hands and seals.

Know all men by these presents, that we, The Wm.
J. C. Dulany Co. of Baltimore city, and Fidelity and
Deposit Company of Maryland, a corporation of Mary-
land, of Baltimore city, Md., all of Baltimore, in the
State of Maryland, are held firmly bound unto the
State of Maryland, in the full and just sum of thirty
thousand dollars, current money of the United States,
to be paid to the said State, or its certain attorney, to
which payment will and truly to be made and done,
we bind ourselves and each of us, our and each of our
heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and sever-
