Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message proposing a con-
ference on the disagreeing votes of the two houses on
amendments to Senate bill No. 223, introduced by Mr.
Jones, and we respectfully agree to said conference,
and have named on the part of the House Messrs.
Johnston, Pearre and Bouchet, and we herewith re-
turn said bill.
