In paragraph 62 of section 1, on page 11 of engrossed
bill, strike out the words "two thousand" wherever
the same occur, and insert tiie words "five thousand."

On page 11 of engrossed bill, paragraph 62 of section
1, strike out all of said section after the word "insti-
tution," on line 3.

On page 14 of engrossed bill, strike out all of para-
graph 70 of section 1.

On page 14 of engrossed bill, paragraph 82 of section
1. strike out the words "fifteen hundred dollars"
wherever they occur, and insert in lieu thereof the
words "one thousand dollars."

On page 15 of engrossed bill, strike out all of para-
graph 83 of section 1.

On page 10 of engrossed bill, strike out all of para-
graph 84 of section 1.

On page 16 of engrossed bill, strike out all of para-
graph 85 of section 1, and insert in lieu thereof the
following : "To the Women's Medical College for the
use of the Good Samaritan Hospital the sum of fif teen
hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1905, and a like
sum of fifteen hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1906."

Add paragraph 86 to section 1 of engrossed bill to
read as follows : "To the Emergency Hospital of
Frederick the stun of twelve hundred dollars for the
fiscal year 1905, and a like sum of twelve hundred
dollars for the fiscal year 1906."

Add paragraph 87 to section 1 of said engrossed bill
to read as follows : "Provided, however, that any
charitable or medical institution or institutions,
coming under the provisions of this Act, shall at the
end of each fiscal year make to the Comptroller of this
State an itemized statement, with an affidavit attached,
of the expenditure of all money received from the
State, and provided further that any charitable or
medical institution failing to comply with the provi-
sions of this Act shall forfeit to the State a sum of
money equal to the amount appropriated by this
Act,"
