1890 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Apr. 4

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message.

BY THE SENATE,

April 2nd, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates.

We have received your message proposing a confer-
ence on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on
amendments to House bill No. 589 introduced by Mr.
Johnston and we respectfully agree to said conference
and have named on the part of the Senate Senators
Robinson, Jones and Dixon.

Secretary.
Which was read.

On motion of Mr. Godwin.
At 5.30 o'clock, p. m.,

The House adjourned until Monday, April 4th, 1904,
at 9.30 o'clock, a. m.

MONDAY, April 4th, 1904.

The House met at 9.30 o'clock, a. m., and was opened
with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Marzecki.

Present at the call of the roll the following mem-
