NEGATIVE—None.

House bill, File No. 427, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and direct the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel county to repair the county bridge over
Severn river known as the 'Severn Bridge,' and to
provide by the issuance of bonds the means for mak-
ing said repairs."

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays, as amended."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At the end of section 14, add

''Provided, that if the County Commissers of Anne
Arundel county shall determine that it is more advan-
tageous to the interests of the tax payers of the
county to remove said bridge from its present location
and construct the same as desired by United States
Government and to be paid for by said United States
Government, then this Act shall be null and void and
the County Commissioners shall not be required to
obey the provisions of this Act, and that any and all
Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby
repealed."
