On motion of Mr. Grant, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Durham be excused from to-day's
session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Green, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Fitzsimmons be excused from
to-day's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Linthicum, it was

Ordered,"That J. Fred. Crew, first assistant engros-
sing clerk, be paid the same per diem for his pains-
taking services as is paid under the rules of this House
to the Chief Engrossing Clerk.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Stump, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Drumm be excused from attend-
ance at to-day's session on account of business.
