repeal and re-enact with amendments, sections 270 GG,
sub-title 'Nominations;' sections 270 QQ, 270 RR, 270
Tr, sub-title 'Ballot and Ballot Boxes,' and sections
270 CCC, 270 DDD, 270 HHH and 270 AAAAA, sub-title

'Elections' of chapter 2 of theActs of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of the Session of 1898, entitled
'An Act to repeal chapter 544 of the Acts of the Gen-

eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session, in the year 1894, entitled 'An Act to add new
and additional sections to Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Frederick
County,' sub-title 'Frederick,' relating to elections in
Frederick city; and to enact in lieu thereof certain
new and additional sections relating to the registra-
tion of voters and to elections in Frederick city afore-
said, to be added to said Article 11 of the Code of
Public Locals Laws of Maryland, title 'Frederick
County,' sub-title 'Frederick,' to follow section 27p A
of said Article, and to be known as 'Section 27 B, etc."

On motion,

It was moved and seconded that the bill be substi-
tuted for the unfavorable report.

Which motion prevailed.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Downs, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments,

House bill, File No. 788, entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 112, 112 A and 113 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'Anne Arundel County,' sub-
title 'County Commissioners,' as the same were en-
acted by chapter 13 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, at the session of 1901, and to re-en-
act said sections 112 and 112 A, with amendments,
fixing the number and compensation of the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county, and to fix
the limit and determine the term of office of the County
Commissioners that shall hereafter be elected or ap-
pointed perpetuating succession to same, and repeal-
