Mr. Hall, from Baltimore city delegation, reported
favorably, with amendments,

House bill, File No. 480, entitled "An Act to carry
into effect section 39 of Article 4 of the,Constitution,
so far as the same concerns an increase in the num-
ber of Judges of Supreme Bench of Baltimore city."

AMENDMENT'PROPOSED.

Strike out in line 5 of section 1, the words "1904"
and insert the words "1905."

Senate bill, File No. 258, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to
issue the stock of said corporation to an amount not

exceeding one million ($1,000,000,) dollars, for the ex-
tension of the present park system of the city of
Baltimore, and for the development and improvement
for park purposes of the lands over which it shall be
so extended, in such mariner as the Mayor and City
Council of "Baltimore shall by ordinance prescribe, to
authorize the submission of an ordinance to that end
to the legal voters of said city ; to empower the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to acquire by condem-
nation or otherwise, within the city of Baltimore,
and Baltimore, Howard and Anne Arundel counties,
such lands or properties as may be necessary for the
purposes of such extension, to develop and improve
the same for park purposes without regard to the
provisions of section 840 of Article 4, entitled 'City
of Baltimore,' of the Code of Public Local Laws of
