propriate a sum of money to improve the driveways
and parts of the Executive Mansion Grounds, etc."

engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hill, from the Committee on Hygiene, reported
without recommendations, with amendments,

House bill, File No. —, entitled "An Act to regu-
late Sanitary Plumbing and Gas Fitting and Sewer
Drainage in the city of Baltimore."

On motion the bill was placed on its second read-
ing.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 33 after the word "Health" insert the
following, "Nothing in this Act shall apply to con-
nections of gas ranges only."

Which was adopted.
Upon motion

The bill was recommitted to the Baltimore city dele-
gation.

Also favorably, with amendments.

House bill, File No. 299, entitled "An Act to appro-
priate a sum of money to pay James E. Wilkinson, of
Baltimore city, for stenographic and typewriting work
and kindred services rendered and furnished by him
to the Select and Special Committee appointed by the
House of Delegates of the General Assembly of 1902,
at its January Session, to investigate and report to the
Governor the condition of the Maryland State Normal
School, located at Baltimore, with recommendations
for the improvement of same."
