1444 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 26

On motion of Mr. Goslin, it was

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims, pay H. J.
Hopkins the sum of $300 for services rendered the
Joint Committee on Ways and Means and Finance, in
preparing and engrossing the three Appropriation
Bills, the Loan Bill and the Tax Rate Bill and for
other services rendered said committees during this
session.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Milbourne, from Committee on Chesapeake Bay
and Tributaries, reported favorably,

House bill, File No. 406, entitled "An Act to define
and regulate the time for the taking, of oysters with
scoops, scrapes and dredges in the waters of Dorches-
ter and Talbot counties, and to amend section 250, of
Article 10, of the Code of Local Laws, title 'Dorches-
ter County,' sub-title 'Oysters,' and section 161, of
Article 21. of the Code of Local Laws, title 'Talbot
County,' sub-title 'Oysters,' as amended by chapter
674, of the Acts of 1900."

Amendments proposed and adopted.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for the third reading.

Mr. Johnson, from Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 563, entitled "An Act to add
two new sections to Article 23 of the Code of Public
General Laws, to be known as 'Sections 222 A and
222 B,' and amend section 223 of the same Article."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

Senate bill. File No. 218. entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments, section S of chapter 78
of the Acts of 1902, entitled 'An Act to further amend
the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1864
