Senate bill, File No. 368, entitled "An Act to au-
thorize and empower the Mayor and City Council of
Ellicott city, to issue bonds for the purpose of sup-
plying said city with water and for the construction of
other internal improvements therein, and to allow the
voting citizens thereof, to determine by ballot,
whether the same shall be issued."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Howard delegation and Mr. Ray.
Also,

House bill, File No. 448, entitled "An Act to regu-
late the hunting, shooting or trapping of wild geese,
wild ducks, snipe, ortalan, reed birds, musk rats and
all other birds and wild fowl in the Patuxant river,
its tributaries and the marshes of said river and its
tributaries."

Endorsed : "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as amended."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 12, insert the words "of the same"
after the word "forfeiture."

Section 3, line 2, insert words or "marshes of said
river or tributaries" after the word "tributary."

Section 3, line 6, after word "license" insert "such
license to expire at the end of one year from the date
of its issue."

Section 3, line 7, strike out the word "number"
when it appears twice, and insert the word "figures."

Section 3, line 8, strike out the word "numbers"
and insert the word "figures."

Section 3, line 11, strike out all after "Clerk of the
Court" in that section, and insert the following:

"Any person who violates any of the provisions of
this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and by conviction thereof, in the Circuit Court, or
before any Justice of the Peace of the State of Mary-
land, in and for any of the counties bordering on said
rivers, shall be fined not less than ten dollars nor
more than fifty dollars for each offense, and the costs
