poration shall have power to examine buildings, ap-
praise same and their contents, make drawings, plans
and inventories, preserve records of same, audit build-
ing account, adjust losses, make up notices and profits
of loss, keep duplicates of insurance, life, fidelity,
casualty, indemnity, marine and any other forms of
insurance, contracts and policies, audit accounts of in-
dividuals, firms, corporations, and do any work for
the protection of the assured."
