The Committee wishes to acknowledge the uniform
courtesy and valuable assistance of Commander Thos.
C. B. Howard, of the State Fishery Force, who accom-
panied the committee and was in charge of the State
Steamer, "Governor Thomas."

On motion of Mr. Godwin,
The question of no quorum was raised.
The Speaker ordered a call of the House, and forty-
six Members answered to their names.

There being no quorum present, the Speaker ordered
the Sergeant-at-Arms to go after the missing Members.

The House took a recess until 8 o'clock, p. m.
