Mr. Milbourne, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill, File No. 317, entitled "An Act to pro-
hibit the playing of the game commonly called crap,
in Somerset county."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Green, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill, File No. 146, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize and direct the County Commissioners of Balti-
more county, to pay to Eugene Burke, deputy sheriff,
a sum sufficient to re-imburse him for expenses in-
curred in his defense in a suit brought against him as
deputy sheriff of said county, for false imprisonment
by one George W. Edgar."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Johnston, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill, File No. 268, entitled "An Act to
repeal section 133 G of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Queen Anne's County,' new sub-title
'County Treasurer,' as enacted by chapter 310, of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, of the
year 1902, and to re enact said section 133 G with
amendments, and to repeal all laws inconsistent with
this Act."

Which was read the second time.

Mr Johnston, from Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably with proposed amendments,

House bill, File No. —, entitled "An Act to author-
ize and direct the Board of School Commissioners of
Montgomery county, to erect an addition to the public '
school house for white children in the town of Gaithers-
burg, Montgomery county, and to require the County
Commissioners of said county to levy a sum of money
amounting to, but not exceeding three thousand dol-
lars, to pay for the erection of said addition to the
public school house in said town of Gaithersburg,
Montgomery county."
