ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Carroll, it was

Ordered, That Mr. James A. Dowling, be paid the
sum of seventy-five dollars for work done at this and
the extra session.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Bosse, it was

Ordered, That L. H. Green, L. A. Riley, G. Green,
E. B. Cole, F. J. Martin, W. H. Schott and A. C.
Davis, telegraph operaters, be paid the sum of fifty
dollars each for services rendered the Members of the
House during the session.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Andrew, it was
Ordered, That Michael Quirk be paid one hundred
dollars for extra work done at this session.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Duvall, it was

Ordered, That Miss Bessie Esmond and Miss Helen
Riordan be paid the sum of one hundred and fifty
dollars each for services as telephone operators to the
Members of the House during the session of 1904.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Lipman, it was

Ordered, That bill No. 187, be brought out from the
Committee on Corporations no later than March 24th,
1904.

Mr. Benson moved to lay the order on the table.

Which was lost by yeas and nays, as follows:
