The Chair distributed the following message from
the Senate:

House bill, File No. 308, entitled "An Act to ratify
and amend the charter and extend and enlarge the
powers of the Pocomoke Telephone Company of Poco-
moke city, Worcester county, Maryland."

Endorsed: ''Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays.''

Also,

House bill, File No. 415, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 8 of Article 83
ef the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Sales and
Notices,' sub-title 'Exemptions from Execution.' "

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."

Also,

House bill, File No. 178. entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Octoraro Granite Company of Cecil county,
Maryland."

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,

House bill, File No. 404, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the town of Glen Echo, in Montgomery county,
Maryland."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Also,

House bill, File No. 533, entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 182 D, 182 E, 182 F, 182 G and 182 H, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Washington County,'
sub-title 'Hagerstown,' as enacted by chapter 171 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, at the
January session of the year 1896, and to re-enact with
amendments said section 182 D, so as to read, herein-
after set forth, providing for the payment by the
Mayor aud Council of Hagerstown of its portion of the
cost of paving of any street, lane or alley, or part
thereof."
