Mr. Milbourne, from the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and Tributaries, reported favorably,

House bill, File No. 495, entitled "An Act to pi'o-
hibit the taking of oysters in the Potomac river with
dredge or implements other than ordinary oyster
tongs, for a period of two years, beginning on the first
day of April, 1904. Provided, that the State of Vir-
ginia shall enact a law to the same effect."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also favorably.

House bill, File No. 626, entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 19, 20, 21 and 42, of Article 72, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Oysters,' to repeal and
re-enact with amendments sections 7, 18, 22, 23, 27,
29, 30, 31, 34, 36, 41, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61 and 62, of said
Article and to add to said Article four new sections to
immediately follow sections 46 A, 46 B, 46 C and 46 D."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably, with amendments.

House bill, File No. 381, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 1 of Arcicle 72,
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
'Oysters,' and re-enacted by chapter 880, Acts of 1894."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

That nothing contained in the bill shall apply to the
waters of the Patuxent river.
Which was adopted.

On page 2, in line 10 after Anne Arundel add 'Wi-
comico and Dorchester.'

Which report was adopted.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Hitchcock, from Committee on Game and Fish
reported unfavorably,

House bill, File No. 311, entitled "Au Act to repeal
section 94 of Article 39 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'Fish and Fisheries,' sub-title 'Chesapeake
Bay,' as enacted by chapter 441 of the Acts of 1896."

Which unfavorable report was adopted.
