as enacted by chapter 310 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of the year 1902, and to re-en-
act said section 133 G with amendments and to repeal
all laws inconsistent with this Act."
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Queen Anne delegation.
Also,
Senate bill, File No. 270, entitled "An Act to au-
thorize the County Commissioners of Howard county
to issue bonds to procure money for the repairing of
roads, bridges and culverts in Howard county, and to
levy a tax for the payment of the same."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Howard delegation and Mr. Ray.

The following Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, originating in the House of Delegates, were
presented to the Governor this day for his approval :
Chapter 109. "An Act to require all railroad com-
panies and corporations, and all persons running or
operating cars or coaches by steam on any railroad
line or track in the State of Maryland for the trans-
portation of passengers, to provide separate cars or
coaches for white and colored passengers, without any
difference or discrimination in the quality of or con-
venience or accommodation in such cars and coaches."
Chapter 110. "An Act to provide for separate ac-
commodations for white and colored passengers in the
sitting, sleeping and eating apartments of all steam-
boats plying in the waters within the jurisdiction of
the State of Maryland, without any difference or dis-
crimination in the quality or convenience of accom-
modation."
Chapter 111. "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 193, 194. 197, 202 and 207 of
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
