Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Somerset County,' sub-title 'Crisfield.' "

Which was read the second time and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Feaga, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 572, entitled "An Act to add a
new section to Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title Allegany County,' to be
known as 'Section 225 A,' under sub-title 'School Com-
missioners."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

The Chair distributed the following message from
the Senate:

House bill, File No. 207, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore Title Company."

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,

House bill, File No. 400, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 186 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Wicomico County,' sub-title 'State's At-
torney,' and to add a new section to said Article 23,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Wicomico
County,' sub-title 'County Commissioners,' giving the
County Commissioners power to appoint its counsel
and to regulate his fees, said section to follow section
17 and to be designated as section 17 A."

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays as amended."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At the end of section 17 A, add the following:
"Provided, however, that the present State's At-
torney for Wicomico county shall be counsel to the
said board of County Commissioners during the term
of office for which he was elected."
