(To all) Christian People to whome these p^rsents Shall come. Know yee that I
Martha Light of the County of Somerset in y^e Province abovesd Widdow, doe
of my own free will for y^e love & affection which I bear unto my Daughter
Mary:Light Doe by these presents give unto her & her Heirs for ever one -
Cow & Cow Calf with their markes as followeth. A Red Cow white faced B
& white belly Called by y^e Name of Cherry the Calf deep red both marked
on the right ears over halved & under bitted, on the left ears Slitt, which

m^r. Matthew Scarbrough p^rfered the following lines to y^e Wor^ll. Court (viz)
These words do to me by m^rs Comfort: Scott at her own house (ffeby) 17^th day 1692/3
That whereas Robert:Howard hath lived Seven or eight years or thereabouts upon

(-nd) pretending Several times that he would not remove although he has had Severall

quantity in hands belonging to y^e Orphants, nor come upon any terms of Rent. =

(upon) legall warning he will depart, not informing m^rs Scott what he means by
