Articles of Agreement had made & Concuded by & Between (Ralph: Milbourne)
of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland of the one part & Andreas Derrickson
William: Swetnam. Peter. Lewis. & Peter: Rayman of y^e other part as followeth (viz)
 
Imprimis the Said Ralph: Milbourne doth for him Self his Heirs &ca Covenant & agree to and
with the Said Andreas: Derrickson. William: Swetnam. Peter. Lewis & Peter Rayman
their Heirs or Assigns, that he the Said Ralph: Milborne, Shall fully build, Compleat & finish
to a Cleete, a Certain Vessell, now on the Stocks at the town of Snow hill in Somerset County
aforesaid. Hee the the Said Ralph: Milborne hereby Covenanting to find all Such materials
as is here expressed (viz) all & all manner of Timber, plank, board, pitch, Tarr, & Okum (& )
whatever else is convenient for the Said Vessell, to the finishing & launching thereof, and
likewise the workemanshipp & the hire & payment of the sd Workemens hire, untill y^e Said

Item the Said Andreas: Derrickson. William:Swetnam. Peter.Lewis & Peter:Rayman
doe for them Selves their Heirs &  Covenant & agree to & with the Said Ralph:Milborne
that for & in Consideration of the above mentioned promises & to y^e performance of the
building Compleating & finishing of y^e above Specified Barke or Vessell, joyntly to find
& buy all & all manner of nails, Spikes, bolts, & Iron worke, whatsoever to y^e Compleating &
finish the Said Vessell as above (allwayes provided the Said Ralph:Milborne his Heirs or
Assigns paying & finding their part & proportion of the Said Nails, Spikes, Bolts & Iron
Worke whatsoever according to the part that he to himself Shall retaine & hold)  The Said
Andreas:Derrickson. William: Swetnam. Peter Lewis & Peter: Rayman doe further Covenant
& agree to & with the Said Ralph: Milbourne, that they Shall & will pay or cause to be paid
the Sum of One pound fifteen Shillings p^r Tonne for building & finding as above, And
for Confirmation thereof have (at the ensealing & delivery hereof) paid unto the Said Ralph
Milborne the Sume of fourty pounds Current money of this Province of Maryland, And at y^e
Lanching & when the Said Barke or Vessell Shall be floted as above, then they hereby (for)
them Selves their Heirs &ca. Covenant to pay the remainder according as the Said Barke or
Vessell Shall measure by rule, at the rate of One pound fifteen Shillings (Current  money
of Maryland) p^r Tonne aforesaid. The Said Ralph: Milborne by these Obliging himself y^t
the Said Barke or Vessell Shall be launched & in the Water floted by the last day of october
next ensueing the date hereof (allwayes provided that Nothing be Wanting (or)
