This Bill bindeth me John Vigerous of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland
Gent my Heirs Execcutors and Adm^rs to pay or Cause to be paid unto (W^m Whittington)of y^e
Same County his Heirs Extors Adm^rs or Assigns, the full & just Sum of two thousand pounds of
good Sound Mertable leaf tobacco in Caske Convenient in or about Pocomoke River in the Said
County at or upon the 10^th-day of November next ensueing the date hereof, as witness my hand
& Seal this 26^th-:day of June Anno Domini 1690.

of our Lord God 1688: the Said John: became indebted
Into the Said Henry in the Sum of fourty two thousand one hundred & eighty Six pounds of tobacco
& Caske for Severall goods & Merchandizes delivered unto the Said Jn^o. as p^r acco^t. here in Court p^roduced
may plainly, but the Said John: fraudulently intending the Said Henry to deceive, refuseth to pay
unto the Said Henry the aforesd Sum of fourty two thousand one hundred & eighty Six pounds of
tobacco & Caske although thereunto hath Severall times bin required, whereby y^e Sd Henry is damnified
to the value of eighty four thousand pounds of tobb & Caske & thereupon bringeth his Sute.
