   45.  An act to alter and amend the charter of the Canton Company
of Baltimore, incorporated by an act entitled " an act to incorporate
the Canton Company of Baltimore, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, chapter one hundred
and fifty-nine, and to authorise said company to increase the
number of shares of its capital stock, and to call for installments
on the same.
    46. An act to provide for the better security of life and property
in the City of Baltimore, by increasing and arming the
police thereof.
    47.  An act to appoint Trustees for William Taylor, a lunatic,
of Bucks county, Pennsylvania, and to enable said Trustees to sell
the real estate of said Taylor, situate in Queen Anne's county.
    48.  An act supplemental to the several acts relating to the
power and duties of the board of Primary Education of Worcester
county.
    49.  An act to extend the time for the County Commissioners
for Baltimore county, to hear appeals and make their levy.
    50.  An act to condemn a lot of land as a site for a Primary
School in Howard county.
    51.  An act to authorise Nicholas H. Green, Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Anne Arundel county, to complete the alphabetical
index of Land Records in his office, from the first day of February,
eighteen hundred and forty-nine, to the third day of December,
eighteen hundred and fifty-one, and of the personal records
from the fifteenth day of February, eighteen hundred and forty-five,
to the third day of December, eighteen hundred and fifty-one,
which were left uncompleted by his predecessor, and to authorise
said clerk to keep up and continue the record of the indexes in
the manner and form as prescribed by law.
    52.  An act to change the name of a town in Allegany county
called Bloomington, to that of Llangollen.
    53.  An act to cure the defective acknowledgment of a deed
from Harriet S. Marple V. Le Maout, to James Polk.
    54.  An act to authorise the Governor to affix the Great Seal to
copies of Laws.
    55.  An act authorising the payment to George W. Hammond
of a sum of money therein named, for work done and materials
furnished at Tobacco wharehouse number two, in the City of
Baltimore.
    56.  An act to make valid a certain deed therein mentioned.
    57.  An act to refund to Samuel H. Beall, certain State taxes
erroneously paid by him.
    58.  An act appropriating a sum of money to pay to Emanuel
Dadds, of the city of Annapolis, the balance of pension due
Sarah Holland, at the time of her death.
