CHAPTER 430.
AN ACT to authorise the County Commissioners of
Baltimore county, to increase the number of Election
Districts in said county, and to empower them
to designate the place of holding elections in such
district or districts as may be created for the convenience
of the voters of said county.

Authorised to
create additional
election
district.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That for the greater convenience of the
voters of Baltimore county, the county commissioners
of said county, be, and they are hereby authorised and
required to create an additional election district out of
the first district in said county as in their discretion the
convenience of the voters of said county may require,
and designate the place of holding the elections in said
district or districts as may be created by virtue of this
act.

To make return
of proceedings.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That the county commissioners
of Baltimore county, shall make a return of
such proceedings as may be had under the direction and
authority of this act, to the circuit court of said county,
to be there recorded at the expense of the said county.

Entitled to
such officers
as other districts.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That each election district
that may be formed by the county commissioners
of Baltimore county, by virtue of this act, shall be entitled
to and have all such officers as other districts of
said county may be entitled to and have under the
Constitution and laws of this State, and such officers
shall be chosen in like manner as provided for by law
for other districts of said county.
