eight; And whereas, he paid in Montgomery county
the sum of twenty-five dollars and ten cents, for county
taxes upon said property, and it is right and proper that
this sum should be refunded to him by the county
commissioners of Montgomery county; Therefore,

Authority to
levy.

Be it enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland,
That the county commissioners of Montgomery county
are hereby empowered and directed to levy upon
the assessable property of said county, at the time of
their next annual levy for county and State purposes,
the sum of twenty-five dollars and ten cents for the use
of the said Joseph H. Jones, subject to his order.

CHAPTER 395.
AN ACT for the relief of Matthew Hardesty, Collector
of State Taxes for the first Collection District of Anne
Arundel county.

Authority to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, pay to Matthew Hardesty, or order,
the sum of thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents, being
the amount of insolvencies allowed by the commissioners
of Anne Arundel county, to the said Matthew Hardesty,
on account of State tax.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted,
That this act shall take
effect from the time of its passage.
