Authority to
levy.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted,
That the mayor and city
council of Baltimore, be, and they are hereby authorised
to levy and collect a sufficient tax to carry out the
provisions of this act.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted,
That this act shall go
into effect from the day of its passage.
|

CHAPTER 261.
AN ACT authorising and directing the County Commissioners
for Calvert county, to levy upon the assessable
property of said county, such an amount of
money as may, in their discretion, be necessary for
the proper repair of the clerk's office of the Circuit
Court for said county.

Authority to
levy.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners for Calvert
county be, and they are hereby directed and empowered,
at the time of next laying the levy for the
county aforesaid, to levy upon the assessable property
of Calvert county, such sum or sums of money as may,
in their judgment, be necessary for the proper repair,
alteration or extension of the clerk's office of the circuit
court for Calvert county.

That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.
