CHAPTER 218.
AN ACT relating to partition fences in Worcester
county.
|
May take
down and remove
one-half
fence.
|
Be it enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, that
whenever it shall cease to be the interest of any person
or persons, part owner or owners of any division fence
or fences in Worcester county, to continue such fence
or fences by reason of the lands enclosed by such fence
having been worn out, and such person or persons shall
be desirous of discontinuing such fence or fences, upon
such person or persons giving to any and every other
person or persons jointly interested in keeping up such
fence, sixty days notice of such intention, such person
or persons may, at the expiration of said time of notice,
take down and remove the one-half of any such partition
fence or fences, and shall be no longer bound to
keep up and repair the same.

CHAPTER 219.
AN ACT to incorporate the Westernport and Potomac
Rail Road Company.

Incorporated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted
by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That John Everett, J. M. Price, Alanson
Everett, John J. Morrison, F. B. Tower, Jonathan
Harmison and Horace Resley, and all and every
other person or persons, who with them or in their
stead, shall hereafter become members of the Westernport
and Potomac rail road company, in the manner
hereinafter mentioned, their successors and assigns,
