4. And be it enacted, That before proceeding
to any drawing
of any of the said lotteries, the said commissioners shall cover
and inclose under their hands and seals, all the tickets remaining
in bank, being the property of the state, and deliver the same
to the treasurer of the Western Shore, or deposit the same, inclosed
and sealed as aforesaid, in the branch bank of the United
States, or other bank, that may have been approved of as aforesaid,
the said commissioners retaining a list of the numbers of
the said tickets, and transmitting a copy of the said list to the
said treasurer. |

CHAPTER 211.
An act appointing commissioners for the town of Oxford in Talbot
county. |

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That
Robert Banning, James L. Chamberlaine and John Willis, be,
and they are hereby appointed commissioners to open, locate
and mark the public squares, streets, lanes, and alleys in the
town of Oxford in Talbot county, according to the original location
made under the provisions of an act of the General Assembly,
passed at a session held at the city of Saint Mary's in September,
one thousand six hundred and ninety-four, and a supplement
thereto passed at a session of the general assembly held
in the city of St. Mary's in May, sixteen hundred and ninety-five;
and such public squares, streets, lanes and alleys, when so opened
and located, shall remain open for public use and as public
highways, and any person obstructing or encroaching on the
same, shall be punished as persons obstructing or encroaching
on public highways. |

of the death, resignation

act for the relief of Mary Whitehill, of Frederick county. |

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the interest, authority, power and control of John Whitehill
in over and to the person and property of Mary Whitehill,
his wife, shall henceforth cease and determine, and the said John |
