Damages. |
3. And be it enacted, That if there
be any person or persons
thro whose land said road may pass, with whom no agreement
has been made, as to the amount of damages sustained by him,
her or them, by the opening of said road, or the said damages
not ascertained under the provisions of the original act, such
damages may and shall be ascertained, levied and paid to such
person or persons in the manner provided by said original act. |

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland,
That the levy courts of Caroline, Anne Arundel, Cecil, Calvert,
Kent, Prince George's, Queen Anne's, Worcester, Harford and
Montgomery counties, be and they are hereby severally authorised
and empowered at their annual meeting, so long as they
shall see cause so to do, to assess and levy on the assessable property
of said counties for the use of the several persons hereinafter
mentioned, any sum of money, not exceeding the several
sums annexed to their respective names, viz: In Caroline county
for James McCarty, thirty dollars, for Richard Mason, thirty
dollars; in Anne Arundel county, for Joseph Simmons, twenty
dollars, for Rebecca Hounton, twenty dollars, for Hannah Lusby,
twenty dollars, for Mary Morgan, twenty dollars, for Mary A.
Davis, twenty dollars, for Alley Parker, twenty dollars, for Thomas
