Petition of citizens of Cecil county, protesting
against passage of bill entitled "An Art to iocorporare
the Octoiaro Water and Power Company."
Read rind referred to Committee on Corporations.

By Mr. McCullough,
Ordered, That Messrs. Applegarth, Betts, Brewing-
ton, Dashiell, Dixon, Gray, Kirwan, Lewis, Perkins,
and Roe, be excused from to-day's session.
REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Palmer from Select Committee reported favor-
ably,
House bill, entitled "An Act to prohibit the sale of
spirituous or fermented liquors, or larger beer at any
place in Garrett county with'in three miles of Fair-
view Church in election district number eight."
