February 4, 1904.
Gentlemen of the House of. Delegates
We have received your message proposing the ap-
pointment by the Senate and House of Delegates of a
committee of fourteen, nine on the part of the House
and five on the part of the Senate, to inform the Hon.
Isidor Rayner of his election as Senator for the term
of six years, from March 4th, 1905. in the Congress of
the United States, and we concur therein.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate Messrs.
Gill, Robinson, Applegarth, Lewis and Dixon

HOUSE BILLS—FIRST READING
The President distributed the following message
from the House of Delegates:
House bill, File No 67, entitled "An Act to lepeal
chapter 238 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1902, entitled 'An Act to authorize the
Commissioners of Somerset county, to pay the costs
incurred by Joseph Muir, in contest with L. Wesley
Beauchamp ' "
Endorsed "Read the thud time, and passed by
yeas and nays "
Which was lead the first time, and referred to Sena-
tors Dashiell, Roe and Applegarth
